Server Rules

Entering the Adventures RO Discord Community and/or connecting to the game, you agree to all these terms and conditions:

📜 GENERAL REGULATIONS

Rule Compliance

1. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse for non-compliance.
2. By connecting to the game, you automatically agree to all the regulations outlined here.

Respect and Conduct

1. All members must show respect toward both the Staff and other players.
2. Zero tolerance is enforced for harassment, insults, or hate speech (including racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.).
3. Defaming the server or the Staff is a serious offense and may result in immediate expulsion. This applies in-game, on Discord, in public spaces, and in private areas where server members are present.

Moderation and Administration

1. The Staff reserves the right to edit or delete content and to sanction users (through muting, expulsion, or banning as appropriate).
2. Public discussion of decisions related to the administration and/or moderation of the server or any associated space is not allowed. For questions or appeals, please open a ticket in ⁠Discord's Assistance Ticket channel.
3. The Staff reserves the right of admission and holds the final decision in all matters.

Content and Communication (Discord Channels)

1. Sharing NSFW or sensitive content—or promoting other Ragnarok Online servers—is strictly prohibited.
2. Links may not be sent without the recipient’s consent.
3. The theme of each Discord channel must be respected; any irrelevant content will be removed.

🏷️ ACCOUNTS, SECURITY AND RESPONSABILITY

Player Responsibility

1. Each player is responsible for their account, even if someone else uses it. The Staff is not liable for any losses resulting from account sharing.
2. Lending items or zeny is at your own risk; the Staff will not be held responsible or offer reimbursements.

Security Guidelines

1. Offensive names or names involving other players without their consent are not permitted.
2. The Staff will never ask for passwords, personal information, money transaction details, or any form of proof to grant any supposed benefit.
3. Impersonating another player is prohibited. Anyone found impersonating a Staff member will be immediately banned.

🚫 EXPLOITS, CHEATS AND EXTERNAL PROGRAMS USE

Client Modifications

1. Only texture-less maps (grey world) are allowed. Any alteration to sprites intended to gain an advantage is forbidden.

Bots, Macros, and External Automation

1. Bots, macros, and similar tools—whether through software or hardware—that provide a direct or indirect advantage to the player are strictly prohibited. Their use will be sanctioned without prior notice.

Exploitation of Bugs or Mechanics (Exploiting)

1. It is mandatory to report any bugs or glitches discovered.
2. Exploiting these errors or game mechanics (whether intentional or not) for personal benefit is a serious offense and will be sanctioned based on its severity.
3. Any attempt to manipulate market prices for personal gain, thereby compromising the stability of the server, will be considered abuse. Such behavior is subject to severe penalties, including potential expulsion or a permanent ban.

Abuse of the Anti-AFK System

1. Using methods to circumvent inactivity detection (to gain experience or points) will be penalized.

Modification or Discontinuation of Systems

1. In cases of abuse that cannot be effectively sanctioned, the Staff reserves the right to modify or discontinue current systems (such as the rewards system) without prior notice.

⚔️ GAME AND COMPETITION

Competitions (War of Emperium, Battlegrounds, and PvP)

1. Sending friend requests or trade offers with the intention of harassing other players is prohibited.
2. Multi-accounting in Battlegrounds or attempting to manipulate results is not allowed.
3. Penalties in WoE, BG, and PvP will be stricter in cases of cheating or abuse of game mechanics.

MvP and Mini-Bosses (Free For All)

1. The Staff will not interfere with standard competitive strategies.
2. Healing the MVP without genuine competitive intent (or using Pneuma, Safety Wall, Warp Portal, "airlifting" the MVP, etc.) to prevent other players from damaging it will be considered unsportsmanlike behavior and may result in sanctions.
3. Healing the MVP is allowed solely as part of a competitive strategy to accumulate damage—not to "hold" it until it can be killed.

Other Competition Aspects

1. Throwing mobs onto other players, regardless of intent, is strictly prohibited.

Mob Stealing

1. The Staff will not intervene in mob stealing. It is recommended to use @NOKS for protection, but abusing this system to harm others will be sanctioned (video evidence or replay is required).

⚖️ SANCTION SYSTEM

Graduated Sanctions

1. Infractions generally begin with warnings. Depending on the severity, these warnings may be issued up to three times before escalating to more severe penalties, such as temporary jail or preventive bans.
2. Serious offenses may result in immediate sanctions without prior warnings.

Application of Sanctions

1. Sanctions may affect only the game, Discord, or other areas, and can be temporary or permanent without impacting other domains.
2. Spamming or insulting in the main in-game channel will result in a permanent mute for that character, preventing the use of that feature indefinitely.
3. In cases of severe exploits, the Staff may impose a permanent ban affecting accounts, MAC addresses, or IP addresses, or even delete all of the player's content so they must start over.

💬 SUGGESTIONS AND CONTACT

Suggestions

1. Suggestions should be submitted in the designated channels on the Discord server, maintaining respect and coherence; otherwise, they will not be considered.

Contact for Assistance

1. The only ways to contact the Staff for assistance are via the @request command or through an Assistance Ticket on Discord. Other methods, including private messages, will not be considered.

Respect for the Staff and Official Response

1. It is not permitted to speak ill of the Staff, either publicly or privately. At the slightest suspicion, the offender will be sanctioned.
2. Due to the high volume of player inquiries and ongoing issues, the Staff will only respond to messages or requests submitted through the official assistance and support channels. Persisting in sending private messages (via Discord or in-game) will not guarantee a faster response and, in many cases, will not be attended to.
