The Christmas Rescue (Xmas 2023 Event)

The Christmas Rescue is a seasonal event that commemorates the Xmas 2023 and New Year holidays.

Introduction

"Christmas in and around Rune Midgarts is in danger! Mobs dressed as Santa are invading cities looking to ruin it. But this is just the tip of the Iceberg, it seems that something really strange is about to happen at Toy Factory."

During this event, players will be able to collect Xmas Cookies around the world, participate in an invasion of monsters that seek to cause chaos in cities, perform special quests and enter a special instance.

Timeline

The event will last a total of five weeks and will take place from December 24, 2023 to January 28, 2024 (both dates inclusive).

Phase 1

Xmas Cookies Quests

During the Christmas season massive mobs in the world will appears and give differente chances to drop a Xmas Cookies. These can be used for the Santa Claus who is visiting the Xmas Event Plaza to create exclusive gifts.

Costumes with Temporary Status

Xmas Rewards (Santa Claus) NPC

A list of Costumes with Temporary Status will be available to be obtained randomly.

The effects of these Costumes can be improved by combining one from Level 1 and another from the previous Level you wish to reach.

Example: Costume from Level 1 + Costume from Level 3 = Costume from Level 4.

The maximum upgrade level is 5 but depending on the phase you can only go up to a point before the maximum.

Note: Depending on the phase of the event, costumes can only be upgraded up to the allowed level.

Additionally, x3 repeated Costumes can be exchanged for x1 New Random Costume.

Cities Invasions

Antonio (Fake Santa) spawn

Invasions will take place every thirty minutes between the cities Alberta, Aldebaran, Geffen, Hugel, Izlude and Prontera in a completely random way.

In case that players do not defeat all the minions of an invasion, one minute before the next one begins the monsters will leave the city.

Horror Toy Factory

During this season, we will travel forward in time to bring for a few weeks our adaptation of the Official Memorial Dungeon from Episode 14.2: Horror Toy Factory.

Some functions such as mob cards cannot be acquired until the server reaches the specific episode, however the mechanics and many of the original rewards will remain.

Out of phase events

The following events will take place regardless of the phases in which the Main Event is.

Xmas Day

Adventures RO will celebrate Christmas in the following way: From 00:00 hrs on December 24 to 23:59 on December 25, at Adventures RO we will celebrate Christmas with the following gifts:

• The experience received by monsters and bosses will be increased by 30% in relation to the Default Rates.
• The drop received by monsters and bosses will be increased by 20% in relation to the Default Rates.
• The gold points obtained for each hour played will be doubled.

New Year's Eve

Adventures RO will celebrate the New Year arrival in the following way: From 00:00 hrs on December 31 to 23:59 on January 01, at Adventures RO we will celebrate New Year Arrival with the following gifts:

• The experience received by monsters and bosses will be increased by 30% in relation to the Default Rates.
• The drop received by monsters and bosses will be increased by 20% in relation to the Default Rates.
• The gold points obtained for each hour played will be doubled.
