In this example we can see the Cost-Benefit of 2 mobs, Mavkas & Iaras. So, what happen? Why the percent of C/B is better in Mavkas and we have less zeny than Iaras?. | |||
The answer is the time. Maybe kill Mavkas in the same amount of time is better, but with the Iaras I took less time to farm same amounts, If we continue using the extra time to farm the same items, we can see we’ll get more zeny, even if the other B/C value is better. | |||

General information about leveling
First of all, there are a couple of adjustments and " facilities " to be considered in Adventure RO, and it is better to be clear about them from the beginning.
- The level difference to share experience is 15 levels, keep this in mind for leveling groups.
- There is Reset NPC on this server, which is COMPLETELY free as long as you are less than or equal to base level 70 (Includes stats and skills).
- Repeatable experience quests are available on this server, but consider that just like any quest, the experience for them is x6.
- Adventurers Guild It is a feature of the server, it has a lot of efficient suggestions of places for leveling or hunting and facilities like basic equipment that you can get through missions.
- The server has floating rates, however, this only applies to the experience you receive from killing mobs, quests of any kind do not apply.
- Up to 3 clients per computer are allowed, consider this.
- The VIP ticket increases the experience received by 17%, this does not apply to quests, it also protects you from losing experience when you die, if you plan to do a long leveling session, I recommend to consider getting one over the experience manual (25% for 30 minutes).
Zeny Making Guide -(IN DEVELOPMENT, WAIT FOR CHANGES)
Zeny is one of the principal currencies in AdventuresRo. So farm it is essential to unleash the full potential of the equipment and our character. Thats why we're going to make an aproximation about the best of the best places to farm it properly, the best practices and bases to make a real farm system.
- Raw zeny
- Trades with players
- Events
- Gachapon
- Bonus prizes for donations
Raw Zeny
What is the raw zeny?: The Raw zeny is knowed as the basic mechanic of farm items and sell them directly to an NPC. Having sometimes abysmal differences between some jobs and some builds. We need to consider a few questions before start, there are 6 basic aspects you should have in mind before start to farm and know which job can be the best option for your farm style.
Small theory of selling items
- Speed of farm: How much time are you gonna spend for kill a monster and get the item you’re looking for?
- Value of the item: How much is the value of the item you’re gonna sell to the NPC?
- Drop of item: What is the % of an item to be dropped for a mob?
- Mob: What is the element, race, size, HP, DEF, difficult of the monster?
- Map: How to get in? Is easy? Need quest? Requirments?
- Cost-benefit: Is worth the farm system I’m using to get Raw Zeny?
Selling items
Selling items to a NPC, is pretty easy, you only go for some items and sell directly to the NPC to get zeny. There are so many NPC’s that buy all stuff in the game. This NPC’s are in all cities and are distinguished for the icon upper head of all.
Theory about farm jobs
Theorically, all jobs are maded to do everything on the game, that means, you can kill mobs, do quest, play a roll in a party, kill MvP's and in this case, farming. Having this in mind theres also some jobs that can farm some mobs easily than others. With this in mind, we can start to think about a class that's going to be our prefered class to farm, but this doesn't mean you can only play 1 class to farm everything, you can also try new builds, improve some techniques and even, choose new jobs to do a farm system.
You can see a condesated information about the jobs, but we must insist, the versatility of some jobs are long way bigger than this recopilation.
Class | Features | Special for |
---|---|---|
Unique Job can reach job lvl 99. Many of 1st job class job skills. Specialized unique equip. Link provide special equip features. Low HP/SP Not tankers. |
Farm with magical attacks. Reach 150 DEX. Can improve some mechanics with 1st job lvls. Linked can use many equips of other classes. | |
Job with high HP / Def / and some skills to farm. Bowling Bash, Spear Boomerang can be a 10/10 skills for Knight. Shield boomerang, Grand Cross 10/10 skills for Crusaders. Being a LK you have Spiral Pierce for massive damage. Being a Paladin you have Shield Chain for dmg. Slow to kill some monsters. Uses many consumables. |
Used in so many partys to tank. Much STR / VIT / DEF stats. Can farm easy so many maps. Can mob large amounts of monsters and kill groups of them. High HP/SP natural recovery. | |
Job with poor DEF / VIT and with a mober can kill large amounts of monsters. Has high Magical DMG. Good range of maps to farm. Wizz can kill large amounts of mobs with area skills (Storm Gust, Vermillio, Meteor). Professors have high individual DMG and linked can be monsters. |
Have low resistance to many monsters. 1v1 can be complicated against so many mobs. Depends so much for the cast. Battle professors need to be linked. Can kill MvP’s and mobs of monsters. | |
Job with low HP and resistance to mobs. Hunter & Sniper have high aspd, flee, dex and you can combo with Flying Galapago. Clown & Gypsi can do high damage with rebirth skills. Specialized weapons can do massive damage. You can even kill MvP’s with hunter class. |
So versatile to farm. Uses ammunition. Need specialized weapons to optimal farm. Very low resistance to stats, dmg & magical dmg. Not efficient tanks. Versatile builds. | |
The acolytes are so versatile farmers too. In AdventuresRo, we have a costumized feature, allows the skill Magnus Exorcismus to hit every mob in game. Champions are versatile, can kill MvP & farm with combos, finger offensive or occult impact. Can have some elemental weapons. Can need some gear combos. |
Magnus can farm so many groups of mobs in so many maps. Killing MvP’s help a lot to farm some rare equips. Can be versatile between support & damage. You can improve some builds to raise your damage or make some combinations. | |
Merchants are always a good option to farm and improve some things. Blacksmith are so empowered to farm with aspd and STR buffs. Alchemist are great farmers for some creation items. Echonomy based on creation. Spend a lot of money (both). |
Whitesmiths can do tons of DMG, but spent zeny. Creators worth farmers are with homunculus or using bombs. Farm plants or make some economy farming some stems and mushrooms. | |
Thiefs have so many skills to farm mobs easely. Rogues are incredible to steal some items from mobs. Assasins can farm lot of maps, using grimtooth, Sonic blow, crits, can farm large amounts of monsters. Also, perfect hiding with a moskie pet, can help a lot to farm. |
Using EDP, can get tons of damage against lot of monsters. Can farm large mobs with grimtooth and perfect hiding. Some builds can kill MvP’s so easy. Lot of them have so much flee, so 1v1 is a great option too. | |

Very similar job to a hunter class. Have versatility with some skills, like Desperado, Trigger shop or ASPD builds. We have customized equip in AdventuresRo. Have some upgrades about weapons and some cards, can deal massive damage. |
So versatile to farm. Have many customized bullets to deal different types of dmg. Uses ammunition. |
Farming zones & monsters
More than any zone, is the kind of item you can get. The value and the speed of farming, here is where the points in Small theory of selling items makes sense. The core items for farm are some items can be farmed not in a hard way and get nice zeny selling them. Following this path, we can start to make some combinations of mobs to get some zeny and start farming during the improve of our farm system.
This way of farm, help to make a system and you can start to make some routes or maybe some ways of farm to get zeny daily, this mechanics allow to farm some items and maybe explore new maps or new ways to make some money. Following this, the routes of zeny farming can be so versatile and can found new ways of farming with new jobs and new strategies.
We have so many items to farm, also theres no only a limitated amount to farm items and only ways to farm zeny, but there are some items people farm over other for the easy of mob, map, speed or anything can help to get zeny fast, also the are some popular items to achieve this. The popular or core items can be for example:
Honorable mentions
There are few mobs that are not properly to farm some Raw Zeny, it works more for leveling or maybe farming another type of items. But, have some valuable drops and we can make some zeny.

Farming system and aproximations to optimal farming
Once we have the information about the spots we can start to farm, we can start to make a system to improve the farming, and transform it into a true system of farming. To start the maths of the farming system I’m choosing, we are gonna use the normal formula for Cost-Benefit and start doing next formulations.
The formula for Cost Benefit (C/B) according to crecenegocios.com is: C/B = VNI / ICV
Where:
C/B – Cost Benefit
VNI = Value of Net Income
ICV = Investment Cost Value
How I can calculate in this case my Cost / Benefit for a farming process? Let's do the next excercise:
EXAMPLE 1 - NOT A TRUE EXPERIENCE OF FARMING
• Imagine We’re planning to farm zeny with Mavkas in Moscovia Dungeon for 1 hour. We choose the sniper job to farm. We have our mid prize gear and can survive and even can deal some damage. We start to kill some Mavkas and we get 120 whiterless rose (784) and 250 crystal mirror (747).
1. We are going to sell our loot to NPC with no merchant, and then, the maths begin:
120 Roses * 27,500 = 3,300,000 z.
250 mirrors * 7500 = 1,875,000 z
Value of Net Income = 3,300,000 + 1,875,000 = 5,175,000.
• Now we need to check how many items we use to farm (Im going to put just the consumables we use, not the total value of equip, this because you can spend again the same consumables to farm and the equip we can have it 1 time only). 1. In this excercise we use a bubble gum (25%), that cost 1,500,000
2. Also, we use 3,000 (Steel arrows), we can make 1,000 with 1 elunium, so, imagine we buyed elunium at market for 60,000.
3. We use 50 royals buyed in 5,000 to a player.
Gum = 1,500,000
60,000 * 3 elunium = 180,000
5,000 * 50 royals = 250,000
Investment Cost Value = 1,500,000 + 180,000 + 250,000 = 1,930,000
• Now we do the Cost/Benefit operation and the raw zeny.
5,175,000 – 1,930,000 = 3,245,000 z profit.
C/B = 5,175,000 / 1,930,000
C/B = 2.68
C/B = 2.68 * 100 = 268% (transformed to %).
What I do with the 2.68?, what does it mean?, the final result of the operation means the growth of our invest to get some zeny, in this case if the result was for example 0.50 we lose even a % of our invest.
If we invest for example 5,000,000 and get 1 of Cost-Benefit puntuation (100%), we dont win 100% extra, we just recovered our money.
Doing this operations, we can start to farm and do some comparisons to improve the farming system and maybe select a better map for me.
Imagine a comparison between Iara’s and Mavkas in the next example.
Now you can start to choose the different ways to farm and improve our system to make some zeny.
For this you can start to have some comparisions between some mobs using the C/B formula + another things to considerate explicated in definitions.
Alternative zeny-lvling path
Another way to get some zeny in a different way, consist in sacrifice some EXP from mobs and can farm some core items (check: Farming zones & Monsters).
In this case, you can get some leveling routes and sacrifice mobs to get extra zeny during the way to 99.
In this case, we’re going to check 1 possible modifications for one of the most popular class in AdventuresRo.

Recommendations:
- Regardless of the class you have chosen, you should ALWAYS create a merchant class, Overcharge & Discount allow you to sell your items more expensive and buy cheaper from an NPC by 24%. It is mandatory to have these skills at level 10.

Trades with players
- NEVER be shy to ask for the value of an item if you are not sure, use the #trade channel in the game or contact a Mentor, it is always good to have a reference.
- Check periodically the @whosell and @iteminfo stores are very practical commands to know the market reference price.

- Seasonal events are an excellent way to get zeny easily, usually the currency of the event is sold at a very high price the first days of the event, use this to your advantage, sometimes letting the items pass a couple of days can be better.
- The event coins are a permanent currency, take advantage of the automatic events.
- BG although it is not an event as such, it is a fairly simple income, you just have to meet the level requirement and play, then you can sell the medals, THE EQUIPMENT AND THE PRIZES ARE NOT TRADEABLE.
- The rotating events like enriched elunium or card recycler are an excellent source of income, keep your Elunium, Oridecon and 2carat diamando safe for this occasion, many times veteran players will try to buy your "useless" cards at a low price, if someone needs them, it's for a reason ;)

Potion Making
In Alberta, in the Merchants guild, there is an NPC that allows you to exchange your herbs for potions, although it is known that an Alchemist specialized in brewing for a player who does not have this character or is just starting this NPC gives a huge comfort and advantage.
