Once you become Hunter, it is advisable to upgrade as fast as possible blitz beat and the whole line of skills of the mentioned branch, first Falcon Mastery (mainly to be able to rent a falcon), Blitz Beat and finally steel crown that increases your damage, then you can continue with Beast Bane or Ankle Snare according to your preference.
As Knight there is a very wide versatility and paths, for objectivity I am limited to deliver only 3 builds or rather references of the same, I hope you understand that if you want something more personalized open a mentor ticket.

Overview

Swordmans experts mainly in melee combat, among their advantages we find:

  • A high amount of HP so the vit significantly affects this statistic.
  • Access to a huge range of armor and heavy equipment that allows him to be an ideal tank.
  • High HP regeneration.
  • Their class change allows them to have access to a mount that greatly increases their movement speed and the weight allowed to carry.


However the disadvantages of them:

  • A low amount of SP and SP regeneration.
  • In general, high SP consumption by their skills.
  • You MUST use potions generally to take advantage of them.

It is advisable to get Bash as soon as possible, then magnum break if you plan to level up in wolves, then you can reset completely free up to level 70 if you wish.

  1. Wolves have a huge source of consumables both sp and hp, so it is an excellent area to leveling, unfortunately the initial zeny is not very useful.
  2. A very well known trick, the wolves are not aggressive, but they will help their companions if they are being attacked, you can gather a large amount of wolves and kill them with a magnum break.
  3. You can literally go up to job 50 here with no problem.

Gear Progression

Start by buying a Katana at Izlude's Weapon Shop, then a Bastard Sword and finally a Two-Handed Sword. Armor based on your progress and available zeny, but don't invest too much as you will have options later on.

Job 40 or higher

To change class you must at least be job 40 but you need 25 skill points to unlock all the skills of the Knight class (as in the image below).

Mastery is recommended, but not mandatory:

  • Two-Handed Sword Mastery
  • Provoke
  • Endure

Recommended Gear Progression (As Newbie)

Adventurers Guild

The adventurers set is an own set of the server, it is almost free, the only requirement is to perform the quests it has for you.

It is divided into three tiers, doubling its cost each time, getting the complete set without the weapon has a value of 20, 40 and 80.

We recommend getting the set as it is account bound and you can use it on your next characters, it is not tradeable.


You can replace the bow for any option that suits you better, it is just a suggestion and it is NOT mandatory to have the weapon of the set to take advantage of the benefits.

A classic build without many complications, lots of aspd, lots of damage. You can reduce dex/agi a bit and add some more int to have a bigger SP pool. A very simple build that doesn't need to go too deep into the class, eventually when you become a sniper you can try to optimize it. The idea is to close the DEX in multiplies of 10 and the agi to match your aspd.

You can use the adventurers set or directly a pantie and undershirt set. Another option is to get 2 gloves with slot and a zerom card for each one and get high dex multipliers, ideally over 130.


AutoBlitz

STR: 1

INT: 1-40 (base)

DEX: 60-80 (base)

LUK: 40+


This build focuses mainly on basic attacks, high aspd above all.


  • Only set off from normal attacks with a bow. Attacking with skills, daggers, or fists will not trigger it.
  • May be triggered even if the attack misses or is blocked by a skill. Basically, a chance for every arrow.
  • For every 3 points of LUK there is an additional 1% chance Auto-Blitz Beat will be triggered.
  • The number of times Auto-Blitz Beat will hit its enemy depends on the level of Blitz Beat and the job level of the character. Job levels 1-9 allow it to hit up to one time, while job levels 40+ allow the maximum of 5 hits if level 5 Blitz Beat is attained.
  • The damage dealt is divided by the number of enemies Auto-Blitz Beat hits. For example, if it hits 3 enemies at once each enemy would receive 1/3 of the damage.
