Overview

This comprehensive seasonal festival, designed as the winter counterpart to the Midsummer Festival (2025) to commemorate the winter season in the northern hemisphere, will be running for approximately 50 days. It features a 5-floor progressive dungeon system catering to all levels, from beginners to veterans, with distinct currency systems, daily missions, and exclusive gacha rewards.

🗺️ Dungeon Progression (F1 - F5)

• Low/Mid Tiers (F1-F3): Levels 15~85. Focused on farming Winter Tokens. Ideal for leveling alts and gearing up.
• High Tiers (F4-F5): Levels 85-99. Focused on farming Winter Insignias. Features rotating Elemental/EXP bonuses every 2 hours.

⚔️ Exclusive Equipment & Rewards

• Winter Set: A farmable armor set with powerful defensive and offensive autocasts.
• Winter Weapons: Tiered weapons (Low/Mid/High) and Special Rank Rental Weapons with massive bonuses (+45% Phys / +20% Magic).
• Enchantment System: Customize your Winter Armor with unique buffs like Gift (drops boxes) or Power (ATK/MATK).

🎰 Gachapon & Special Events

• Winter Gachapon: Exchange 💠 Boreal Rune Stones (dropped by Event MVPs) in Prontera for premium prizes like Slotted Angel Wing Ears or Safe Refine Ores.
• Daily Missions: Complete up to 3 Hunting Quests per account/day for massive EXP rewards and Treasure Boxes.
• Winter Special MVPs: Spawning every 4 hours, defeating them grants a server-wide buff (+10% Drop & +20% EXP). Additionally, everyone on the map receives Global Drops including 🏅 Insignias, 💰 Event Coins, 🎟️ Vouchers, and 💠 Rune Stones.

What's New in Winter Event (2026)?

Compared to the previous version (2025), this year's festival introduces significant mechanical upgrades and new reward systems inspired by the Midsummer Festival.

✨ Major Additions

• Temporal Dungeon Logic: Unlike the static maps of 2025, Floors 4 and 5 now feature Rotating Bonuses (Element & EXP) that change every 2 hours, encouraging diverse gameplay.
• Party Synergy System: A new EXP formula specifically boosts Base/Job EXP based on the number of active party members in the dungeon.
• Winter Gachapon Machine: A completely new Tiered Gacha system (Tier 0-6) allowing players to gamble Boreal Rune Stones for high-end rewards like Safe Refine Ores and Angel Wing Ears.

🔄 Balancing & Quality of Life

• Global MVP Drops: Defeating a Winter MVP now awards items (Insignias, Coins, Vouchers) to everyone on the map, not just the killer or their party.
• Expanded Daily Limits: Daily missions have been streamlined to a limit of 3 per account/day with massive EXP rewards to reduce burnout.
• New Rental Tier: Introduction of Special Rank rental weapons with massive +45% Damage modifiers to help newer players compete.

Winter Plaza

Through the warper (statue at the center of each city) you can go to the Event Plaza, where you will find various npcs for this great winter adventure.

Winter Gachapon

Located in Prontera (125,149) and the Event Plaza, this machine allows you to exchange 1x Boreal Rune Stone for a random prize.

Winter Dungeons (F1-F5)

These exclusive dungeons will be available for the entire duration of the event. Unlike the summer dungeon there is no level restriction but there is a penalty for being in a lower level map being higher level.

General rules:

1. All characters that are in the level range of the dungeon will receive a Buff to facilitate their leveling and farming, while characters that are ABOVE the level requirement will receive a huge penalty or debuff.
2. All characters NOT reborn will receive a buff if they are between level 85 and 90 if they are on levels 4 and 5.
3. On floors 1 to 3 all AOE skills have a damage penalty.
4. All enemies have a % of dropping Winter Token (1/2/3% Floors 1,2 or 3) and Winter Badge (10% Floors 4 and 5).
5. Every two hours at least one of the following dungeons, F4 or F5, will receive an experience increase between 5 to 20%.
6. ALL MVP CARDS and Cards that give damage vs. Race/Size/Element are disabled within the dungeon, not equipment such as Orc Archer Bow or similar.

Winter Special MVPs

Mechanics:

• Every 4 hours a random MVP spawns on floor 4 or 5.
• Upon death the MVP will give rewards to everyone on the map (Winter Blessing).
• When the MVP is eliminated, all active players on the server will receive a +10% drop rate buff and +20% EXP.
• Buffs last for 20 minutes.
