Memoria (Memory Dungeon) is a seasonal custom instance creaated by Skrymir for Adventures RO's anniversary events.

The mechanics of the instance are based on advancing through different floors. A game signature monster (MVP) is found in each level. Once defeated, a reward will be given to the entire party and they will move to the next level automatically after a few seconds. Some MVPs have modified features to adjust their difficulty.

There's a challenge mode and extra quest that allows players to obtain additional rewards.

Memoria (Memory Dungeon)

Description[edit]

A space between reality and non-reality created through the crystallization of memories. It is rumored of the existence of a characteristic entity within Memory with a mission for those who want to accept it.

Rewards and some mechanics may vary in each edition.

Mechanics[edit]

Within the duration of the instance (2 hours), you can re-enter if your character is defeated.

Once the instance ends, you must wait 12 hours to be able to use that character again.

Within Memoria, it is not possible to make changes to the group.

A game signature monster (MVP) is found in each level. Once defeated, a reward will be given to the entire party and they will move to the next level automatically after a few seconds. Note: Some MVPs have modified features to adjust their difficulty.

Changes during the 2024 half-year anniversary.[edit]

Removed the forced teleport between floors when defeating an MVP.
Mysterious Mind fragment is no longer required to enter the instance.
Re-added a drop and EXP to Normal Mobs in Memoria.

Drop: Fragment of Mind (Party drop).

Balanced the overall stats of Mobs and MVPs in Memoria.
A hidden space may appear in Floors 3,7 & 11 leading to an extra MVP (1 on each floor).

10% chance of appearing upon defeating the floor MVP. (All challenges applies to these MVPs).
Upon Defeat these Hidden MVPs may give up to 7 Fragments of Twisted Memory (party drop)

Fixed a Misplaced Warp on Floor 9. (Now located on the top entrance to Orc Dungeon)

Along with the MVPs, entities called “Vestiges of Memoria” will appear at different levels. By defeating them, a special currency can be obtained for the entire group by chance.

Fragment Collection[edit]

Using ‘ Fragment of Twisted Memory’ or ‘ Fragment of Mind’ players will be able to access a wide catalog of special consumables and costumes on the limited special event NPCs located in Prontera's Event Plaza.

Internal Quest[edit]

Within the Instance there is a Quest with which players will have the opportunity to obtain one of the following exclusive costumes depending on whether or not they finish the instance.

Quest[edit]

1. Reach Memoria Floor 11 and go to [49,250]. There if you talk to Wandering Memory while holding at least 30 Fragment of Mind he will ask you to give them to him. If you do so he will give in exchange 2 Fragment of Twisted Memory.

2. Reach Memoria Floor 2 and go to [177,127]. There you will need to deliver 15 Fragments of Mind and 2 Fangs of Haati in exchange for 2 Fragment of Twisted Memory.

3. Reach Memoria Floor 9 and go to [223,203]. There you will need to deliver 20 Fragments of Mind and 300 Orcish Warrior Voucher in exchange for 3 Fragment of Twisted Memory.

4. Reach Memoria Floor 5 and go to [23,141]. There you will need to deliver 15 Fragments of Mind and 1 Amethyst in exchange for 2 Fragment of Twisted Memory.

5. Reach Memoria Floor 10 and go to [146,77]. There you will need to deliver 30 Fragments of Mind, 1 Emperium and 1 Baphomet Doll in exchange for 4 Fragment of Twisted Memory.

6. Reach Memoria Floor 7 and go to [35,208]. There you will need to deliver 50 Fragments of Mind and 1 Ba Gua in exchange of 5 Fragment of Twisted Memory.

6.a. If you select the option “Send off”, you will receive a 'x1 Costume Valkyrie Spear. (Quest Finished)

6.b. If you select the option “There should be something more to do…” you will progress the quest and face a hard challenge.

7. Reach Memoria Floor 12 and face the Memory of Okolnir. When you defeat it, go to [176,167] and you’ll receive 10 Fragments of Twisted Memory and x1 Costume Night Wings. (Quest Finished)

Defeating the final Boss[edit]

Completing the Quest by defeating the final Boss, player will get one of the following garment position costume items:

Challenge Mode (F13)[edit]

Description[edit]

Memoria Challenge Mode is a new way of experiencing Memoria while obtaining some extra rewards.

Unlocking Challenge Mode[edit]

To unlock Memoria Challenge Mode the Party Leader needs to have completed Memoria Quest by doing step 7 (Defeating Memory of Okolnir).

(Note: Finishing the Quest on Step 6 will not unlock Challenge Mode) (Note: The unlocking process is ACCOUNT-WIDE)

Accessing Challenge Mode[edit]

Upon trying to create a new instance for Memoria, if Challenge Mode is unlocked, you will be prompted with a new dialog to choose between Normal Mode and Challenge Mode.

Challenge Modes[edit]

If you select Challenge Mode, you will be asked to configure your Challenge by selecting between the following options:

Grace of Mistress (+1 Challenge Coin). Raises the Movement Speed of all MVPs by 40% (50% in the past).
Blessing of Valkyrie (+1 Challenge Coin). Raises the HP of all MVPs by 25% (30% in the past).
Wish of the Djenn (+1 Challenge Coin). Raises ATK of all MVPs by 25%. (Unchanged)
Pact with Beelzebub (x2 Challenge Coins). All MVPs have a random element and element level (In the past, the challenge was ghost element 3.).
Offering to Surt (x2 Challenge Coins). Reduces the damage of all skills to MVPs by 25%. (Unchanged).
Treasure of Niddhogr (x2 Challenge Coins) . Increases ASPD of all MVPs by 30% (50% in the past).
(New) Double Trouble (x2 Challenge Coins). Reduces the damage of all skills to MVPs by 50%. Doubles all MVP stats. A second non-mandatory MVP spawns on all standard floors. These extra MVP can give up to 5 extra Fragments of Twisted Mind.
(New) Madness of Magic (+1 Challenge Coin). Random Effects may afflict the player while the MVP is alive.

Floor 12 Rewards[edit]

Upon defeating Memory of Okolnir while doing Challenge Modes, players may receive some additional rewards:

Access to Special Floor 13.
If Grace of the Mistress, Blessing of the Valkyrie or Wish of the Djinn are active: +1 Challenge Coin
If Pact with Beelzebub, Offering to Surt or Treasure of Niddhogr are active: +1 Challenge Coin

Floor 13[edit]

Floor 13 is designed as a Mini-Instance inside Memoria. Only the Offering to Surt Challenge (if chosen) will be active on this floor.

Upon completing floor 13, players will receive a varying amount of challenge coins depending on which Challenges are active.

Grace of the Mistress: +1 Challenge Coin Amount
Blessing of the Valkyrie: +1 Challenge Coin Amount.
Wish of the Djinn: +1 Challenge Coin Amount.
Pact with Beelzebub: x2 Challenge Coin Multiplier.
Offering to Surt: x2 Challenge Coin Multiplier.
Treasure of Niddhogr: x2 Challenge Coin Multiplier.
Double Trouble x2 Challenge Coins.
Madness of Magic (+1 Challenge Coin).
